Dr. Polar Dad is a ceramic sculpture that was displayed at Laura’s Center for the Arts at the South Shore YMCA from January through February 2013. This sculpture commemorates two aspects of my father’s life: Dr. Lawrence H. Golden – cardiologist and swimmer.
My Owl Tree Sculpture returned to First Night, 2013 in Raleigh, NC… this time for a circus theme! Everyone passing by was invited to write a New Year’s wish and attach it to the Owl Tree’s cape. Then, they pulled the Owl Trees’ lever to flap their wishes out into the universe.
